Queer March is more than a day. It’s a movement of care, creativity, and collective strength.
This March, we’re gathering for the third edition of Queer March, and for the second time, it will unfold across the entire month. Together, we’ll create space to be queer, through joy, protest, tenderness, and pride.
We’re looking for volunteers, organisations & collectives, and welcoming venues in Ghent to help us shape a month full of events, stories, and connection. Whether you can offer time, skills, ideas, or a space to share, your contribution matters. Every person who joins helps weave a stronger web of queer care and solidarity.
Know someone who’d love to be part of this?
Spread the word.
Queer March grows through shared energy, collaboration, and community.
Volunteers
Queer March runs on care, collaboration, and countless helping hands.
We’re looking for people to support both behind the scenes and during events, from logistics and communication to creative input and practical help. No special experience is needed, just curiosity, reliability, and the wish to contribute. Every hand makes Queer March more vibrant, more connected, and more possible.
On November 23, we’ll host an info evening for volunteers with more details about how to get involved and what kinds of support we’re looking for. Don’t wait to sign up. The sooner we connect, the better we can build together.
Organisations, collectives & grassroots groups
Are you part of a queer collective, organisation, or grassroots group? We invite you to answer our open call with an idea for an event you’d like to organise during March 2026.
Throughout the month, Queer March will spotlight community-led initiatives that celebrate queer creativity, resistance, and care. This edition’s overarching theme is community care. We encourage you to take it as a starting point for your event, in any way that feels meaningful to you. Whether it’s through art, conversation, movement, or celebration, every perspective contributes to a broader dialogue on collective well-being.
By joining, your project will become part of a shared calendar that amplifies diverse queer voices across Ghent and beyond. Your idea doesn’t need to be big or fully planned. What matters is intention, openness, and pride. If you need support, we can help with logistics or, when possible, offer a suitable location.
Together, we show the many ways our communities create, heal, and celebrate.
Venues
We’re looking for spaces in Ghent that feel safe, open, and welcoming, from cafés and art venues to meeting rooms and stages. If your venue can host queer events with care and accessibility in mind, we’d love to connect. Opening your doors helps build a city where everyone can belong and be themselves.
Support Queer March
Can’t volunteer or host a space? You can still make a difference.
Queer March is a small, growing collective, and every contribution helps us sustain and expand this movement. If you’d like to support us financially, your donation, big or small, is deeply appreciated. Together, we make sure Queer March continues to thrive and reach more people every year.
